As the sun sets on a beautiful Moroccan evening, we just wrapped up our 5th annual AccessData International Client Advisory Board (ICAB) meeting here in Marrakesh.
A beautiful and fascinating city in Northern Africa, Marrakesh is a former imperial city and one of the most popular cities to visit in Morocco, featuring beautiful mosques, palaces and gardens. As you would imagine, I had to stroll through the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square and souk market, shop in the Medina, all while admiring the extraordinary architecture throughout the city. With plenty of things to do and see in both the medieval and modern parts of town, Marrakesh proved to be a captivating host city for our meeting.
The ICAB brings together experts in the digital forensics and legal markets at various organizations around the world. The purpose of the board is to help AccessData better understand the changing needs of these markets, which we believe will allow us to design and deliver more relevant offerings to our customers. Our philosophy is to have these important discussions in locations that help us all to be inspired by the endless possibilities of human creativity and culture.
This year’s ICAB meeting was especially productive and revealed some important market trends that we will be following closely in the months ahead. We were also able to listen carefully to our customers and obtain honest feedback from them regarding our product roadmap and specific product development plans.
These meetings have become so important for us — and the feedback from attendees has confirmed they too see great value from participating, exchanging ideas with colleagues, networking with peers from other organizations and enjoying the social events that we plan for board members each year. In fact, this year we decided to expand this concept by adding two new U.S.-based client advisory boards.
The sun will rise over this beautiful city in a few hours and I’ll be on my way back to the U.S., but I will take with me the magic of Marrakesh. Thanks again to all who joined us here and participated in the important business discussions at this year’s ICAB meeting.
Please enjoy a few photos from our trip and stay tuned for updates on future Advisory Board meetings around the world!
