ACE Process

Pre-requisite Verification and Payment Phase

·    Candidate contacts AccessData (via their sales representative). AccessData will ensure the candidate meets the stated prerequisites for certification.

·    Upon payment, the ACE Registration form will be sent to the candidate. After completing this form, it should be faxed to the AccessData Training Coordinator.

·    When returning this form, please also provide a letter (written and signed by your supervisor) documenting the prerequisite six months of examination experience. The letter should be submitted on agency/organization letterhead. Your supervisor's contact information is also required so we can validate your experience. Supervisor contact information is necessary for validation.

·     Fax to: (801) 765-4370

·     Include a cover sheet titled: ACE CANDIDATE - ATTN: TRAINING DEPARTMENT

  • The Training Coordinator will validate all documentation and finalize registration by notifying the candidate that they may choose an available ACE Certification Day.  The candidate will contact their Sales representative to choose a Certification Day; a list of ACE Certification Days is available on our website.  Only students cleared for registration will be permitted to participate in the ACE Certification Day.

  • The candidate completes the KBA and PBA portions of the ACE Certification Day.  The candidate will be notified by the Certification Manager of the test results.
  • After a two year period candidates must recertify their proficiency and experience to maintain the ACE credential. Recertification includes a mandatory 40 hours per year (80 hours total needed when commencing recertification), including one AccessData update (course or technical conference, web presentation, etc.) per year. Training hours will be accepted from the following organizations (this list may change at AccessData's discretion):
